NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- PR Newswire has gathered a impressive panel of judges that boast experience and influence in arenas of public relations, content marketing and social media to conduct the first round of judging for the 2012 Earnies Awards and create a shortlist of finalists before final voting is open to the public.



Deirdre Breakenridge, CEO of Pure Performance Communications and Tim Moore, CEO of CrushIQ, have returned for a second year as Earnies judges.  For the 2012 program, they are joined by Tim Washer, Senior Manager of Social Media at Cisco, Joe Pulizzi, Founder of the Content Marketing Institute and Michael Sebastian, Founding Editor of PR Daily.

The Earnies Awards recognize individuals and organizations for outstanding earned media campaigns executed through social media.  For its second year, PR Newswire has added additional categories to allow organizations even more opportunities to present their winning campaigns.  Hosted on the AGILITY@work web site, all submissions will first be reviewed by the panel of judges who will consider the campaign's strategy, creativity, measurable results and overall awesomeness.  From a shortlist of finalists, final winners will be determined by community voting through social media.
