Dr. John Upledger, founder of The Upledger Institute and recognized as an innovator and leading proponent in the investigation of new therapies, has produced a new interactive CD-Rom that is designed to teach people of all ages about their immune system. Created in conjunction with the New York design firm Glazer and Kalayjian, Inc., the Healthy Cells CD-Rom takes the viewer into the "Immune University," where each part of the immune system learns how to do its job to keep the body healthy. Each cell and organ that makes up the immune system has been given a "character," and each in turn explains its role in the immune system. From the saucy Natural Killer cell to the adorable Monocyte, each character is creative and fun for children to watch and is designed to explain complicated physiology as well.

Also included on the CD-Rom is a relaxation exercise, designed to boost immune function. The accompanying animation takes the viewer for a ride inside the immune system, and all the cells that introduced themselves earlier show how they contribute to keeping the body healthy.

Packed with scientific information and presented in a fun and upbeat format, this CD-Rom is a great learning tool for health practitioners, educators, parents, and children, as well as anyone interested in learning about immune function.
