"Measuring and monitoring media coverage has never been easier," said eWatch Vice President, Nancy Sells. "As print publications and other media have moved on-line and as the news cycle has shortened from weeks to hours, these improvements will help our customers stay abreast of news on their company, products, competitors and the industry trends that are important to them," Sells said.

eWatch continually scans over 7,000 web publications, hundreds of thousands of online publications, web pages, bulletin boards and e-mail discussion groups in over 30 countries based upon customized search criteria. The newest version of this industry leading software allows PR professionals to manage clip report projects from start to finish. A new inbox enables users to sort links to articles by subject, client, date, search term matches or readership data. Customers can flag the links to share with their clients and colleagues, and email individual article links or an entire page of article links with highlighted search terms, with one click. New personal and shared folders allow users to collect clips from any date and create reports that can be emailed or archived on the web site. Public relations agency professionals can now sort information by client, creating separate tabs and reports based upon individual accounts, and permission access to these reports on an individual basis.

These improvements build upon previous updates. Earlier this year, eWatch introduced weekly e-mail updates summarizing content, upgraded search technology to ensure superior content quality and the ability to download accessed clips and statistics into HTML format, allowing a user to easily create reports using popular word processing or spreadsheet software. Last year, eWatch was the first monitoring service to provide readership data for thousands of web publications, allowing customers to measure the number of potential viewers and possible impact.

"This upgrade is part of our ongoing commitment to meet the current and future needs of communications professionals," said Sells. "eWatch is the most dynamic and robust Internet monitoring service on the market and we will continue to evolve the software to anticipate these needs."

eWatch™, http://www.ewatch.com/, pioneered the Internet monitoring industry in 1994. PR Newswire purchased eWatch™ in 2000 to expand its communications services for public relations and investor relations professionals.
