The EMK and BMB represent the evolution of traditional Video News Release (VNR) and Satellite Media Tour (SMT), respectively, and will enable communicators to reach TV, radio, print and on-line media, and communicate with consumers and other audiences directly.

"These new services will meet the changing needs of communicators by combining traditional tactics with new technologies and techniques to deliver results that go beyond expectations and allow clients to communicate directly with consumers, investors and other audiences," said Tim Bahr, president of MultiVu.

The Internet and the rapid expansion of broadband and wireless technology are transforming the way people receive news and information. Nielsen/NetRatings reported in September 2005 that 120.8 million Americans now have broadband Internet access. A study by JupiterResearch in April said 26% of adults prefer the Internet as their primary means of accessing news -- at the expense of television and newspapers.

The EMK is at the forefront of the evolution occurring in Broadcast PR. It's a complete package of multimedia tools to reach television, print and online media while at the same time offering the ability to directly communicate with key target audiences such as consumers, investors and employees. An EMK includes B-Roll, a 60-second video report, an audio news release (ANR), a multimedia news release (MNR), an online press page, and podcasting of audio and video content. The EMK includes complete production, distribution, monitoring and reporting services. Online distribution of content includes syndication to thousands of websites and databases, including Yahoo! Video Search and Google.

The BMB represents the future of the satellite media tour (SMT). It allows communications professionals to extend the reach of an SMT beyond television to include radio, print and online audiences. The BMB includes television and radio interviews, Webcasts, B-Roll, an ANR, a 60-second video report, an online press page, podcasting of audio and video content and monitoring and reporting.

Both the EMK and BMB include built-in television and radio audiences through strategic placements and partnership deals.

"The products are a major step toward a more strategic approach to broadcast PR and a move toward delivering news beyond broadcast, directly to target audiences," said Bahr.
