Sells, an 18-year veteran of PR Newswire, is responsible for deployment of a U.S. sales and service organization that has been redesigned to offer customers added expertise on multimedia communications services that reach both traditional media and additional audiences on the interactive web. She reports to Chief Operating Officer Dave Armon.

"This is a particularly exciting time for our industry, with Web 2.0 allowing organizations to engage in dynamic communication in ways that could not be imagined even five years ago," said Armon. "Nancy has both the infectious enthusiasm and technical competency to make sure we deliver the high quality customer support and education that has long been a hallmark of PR Newswire."

A former president of the National Investor Relations Institute's Denver chapter, Sells served in regional sales and sales management capacities for more than a decade, beginning in 1988 in Los Angeles. Most recently, she held the position of vice president in PR Newswire's Media Intelligence Products division, during which time she successfully orchestrated the integration of three of PR Newswire's core products -- eWatch™, MEDIAtlas™ and ProfNet Experts(SM) -- into one platform. Sells also contributes to public relations and investor relations trade publications, and recently authored the white paper, "Using Media Tools To Drive Communications Success," for PR Newswire.

"I am proud to have helped PR Newswire define the commercial newswire industry and shape the way businesses and organizations communicate with the world," said Sells. "As organizations in all industries recognize the opportunities of establishing an ongoing communications program with new and old media, PR Newswire will become even more essential to their success. I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to lead PR Newswire's sales organization."
