The partnership will provide the nation's largest publisher of metropolitan business newspapers with relevant, highly localized news content issued by PR Newswire. A "PR Toolkit" will also be provided on the Bizjournals sites to educate business owners on best practices in the promotion of their achievements.

"Bizjournals offers extremely comprehensive local and national business news coverage. Its more than 3.2 million monthly users are a testament to Bizjournals' top-quality journalism and loyal readership. For PR Newswire, a partnership with Bizjournals provides a tremendous opportunity to extend the reach of our clients' news to a highly trafficked and influential group of news sites," said Joshua B. Cohen, PR Newswire's director of Content Licensing and Distribution. "This partnership, and partnerships like it, extends PR Newswire's mission of directing our content to reporters and publications that make a difference for our customers."

PR Newswire content will be featured throughout Bizjournals' online sites which include The San Francisco Business Times, The Washington Business Journal and the Dallas Business Journal.

Each local market of Bizjournals Network plans to offer two pages dedicated to PR Newswire content. One page will display press releases pertinent to the specific metropolitan area. The second page will provide a listing of every press release issued domestically by PR Newswire as well as access to an archive of PR Newswire press releases.

Readers can also take advantage of PR Newswire's PR Toolkit, a site that offers practical information on how to issue a news release, as well as day- to-day public relations tips and tactics. The PR Toolkit will be featured on all pages of Bizjournals sites that host PR Newswire content.

"Local business people rely on Bizjournals for accurate, timely news associated with their businesses and the regional economy. Our partnership with PR Newswire will now provide our local online users with additional local information," added Bryan Snyder, Business Development Manager for Bizjournals.com. "Additionally, the availability of PR Newswire's PR Toolkit will serve as a valuable resource to our readers, many of whom are small business owners who may be eager to promote their achievements but are unfamiliar with the tools and techniques for issuing a press release or targeting reporters."
