NEW YORK, June 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- PR Newswire - Vintage Filings today announced the "Shareholder Confidence 365 Study," a 12-month survey targeted to the three key constituents that public companies communicate with: institutional investors, individual investors and the financial media.

Every two weeks, via email, social media and press releases, the Shareholder Confidence 365 Study will ask Capital Market participants one simple question on a topic germane to public companies. The responses will deliver actionable intelligence to corporate Investor Relations departments.

Question #1:

For the stocks that you CURRENTLY OWN, how often do you visit the Investor Relations websites of those companies?

Please click here to answer  or  https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ShareholderConfidence1

Additionally, every two weeks, the responses to the previously asked question will be posted along with a new question. Responses are 100% anonymous. If they wish, survey contributors may opt-in to receive the next question and results via email as well as enter a monthly raffle to win an Amazon Kindle.

"A large percentage of an Investor Relations Officer's day can be lost addressing very tactical decisions so it's important that they get through these decisions quickly and move on to strategic matters," said Bradley H. Smith, Director of Marketing at PR Newswire. "However, before they act, it's important that the Investor Relations team listens to all the voices from their different stakeholders. That's what makes this study unique. PR Newswire and our network have the ability to directly reach institutional investors, self-directed investors and the financial media at the same time."

"This will be a very interesting study," said Howard Lindzon, CEO and co-founder of StockTwits, "and we're pleased to help drive responses from the StockTwits community. Our members range from the classic day-traders to professional traders to what I wrote on, the 'Instividual' Investor' which is a blend of the perceived silos of Individual [Retail] and Institutional investors. This study will show, in real-time, the difference and similarities of how investors research equities," concluded Lindzon.

By asking one simple question every two weeks, Smith expects a consistent and hopefully expanding response pool.

"No one has tried a real-time survey on this scale before. Its success will depend on the investors' true desire to share their voice in a transparent, direct platform. Their participation, a few clicks of a mouse every two weeks, will help public companies communicate smarter," finished Smith.
